 1、summary

Deviant behavior is behavior that violates cultural norms and is divided into criminal and informal deviant behavior. Different cultures define deviation differently because norms are relative. Sociology is concerned with the classification and impact of deviant behavior, including deviation theory and structural functionalism. Deviation theory explains how people violate norms, such as Merton's deviant typology; Structural functionalism holds that deviations help define norms and promote social solidarity, but they also bring about social change. Deviant behavior is an important field of sociocultural dynamics and social control.

2、Interesting place

The concept of bias is an interesting area in sociology because it relates to how human behavior goes beyond the bounds of social expectations. What's interesting about this field is that it challenges our definitions of normal and abnormal, and how those definitions change over time, culture, and social circumstances. Deviant research reveals how social norms are formed, transmitted, and maintained, and how interactions between deviants and society shape the social fabric. In addition, bias theory explores the interaction between individual behavior and social context, revealing the extent to which society influences individuals and the ways in which individuals respond to society. In general, the concept of deviance raises questions about social norms, authority, cultural differences, and social change.

3、problem

How does cultural acceptance of bias affect the incidence of bias?
