1) Summary

Deviance refers to behavior that violates social, moral, or legal norms and can range from infidelity in relationships, fraud or sexual harassment in the workplace, and plagiarism in the academic field. These actions may lead to direct harm to individuals, organizations or all aspects of society, such as destroying relationships, damaging reputations, and triggering legal liability. In order to prevent and respond to deviant behavior, it is recommended to strengthen moral education, establish a sound regulatory mechanism and system, strengthen legal binding, and promote a fair and honest code of conduct. Wikipedia may also mention examples of deviance or research results to help readers gain a deeper understanding of the topic.

2)What I learned?

As can be seen from the article, deviant behavior often occurs in areas with high crime rates, and is also inextricably linked to gender and race. Another way in which crime statistics can go beyond simply reporting incidents of criminal activity is by highlighting the differences between different groups. One difference in criminal activity is the number of violent crimes by gender; Men are more likely than women to commit violent crimes. On the other hand, the criminal justice system in the United States has a significant impact on the life chances of racial and ethnic minorities, especially people of African descent.

3) Questions

In different cultural and social contexts, people's perceptions of what constitutes "deviant behavior" may differ. So, how do you determine the criteria for deviant behavior and how do you balance the relationship between individual rights and social norms?
