In addition, socialization is a life process, usually divided into two stages: primary socialization, which occurs during childhood and adolescence, and secondary socialization, which involves changes in socialization needs throughout life. Socialization also involves two types of socialization, broad and narrow, promoting independence and self-expression, and obedience and obedience, respectively. Institutionalized socialization is also part of socialization, such as prisons and mental health facilities designed to help those individuals who need to be resocialized. In general, socialization is very important for individual growth and social integration.
