Socialization is the process by which humans function in social life in order to achieve the following goals: impulse control and conscience development, role preparation and performance, including roles such as occupational roles, gender roles, marriage and parenthood, and nurturing sources of meaning. Socialization is a relatively cultural process, because people with different cultural backgrounds have different socialization experiences. In addition, socialization is a life process, usually divided into two stages: primary socialization, which occurs during childhood and adolescence, and secondary socialization, which involves changes in socialization needs throughout life. Socialization also involves two types of socialization, broad and narrow, promoting independence and self-expression, and obedience and obedience, respectively. Institutionalized socialization is also part of socialization, such as prisons and mental health facilities designed to help those individuals who need to be resocialized. In general, socialization is very important for individual growth and social integration.

2、Interesting point 

Socialization is a process of interaction between individuals and society, involving role preparation, emotional control and cultural adaptation. What's interesting is that it shapes individual identities and prompts people to learn social norms and values. Socialization also demonstrates the influence of different cultures on individual behavior and attitudes, reflecting the consensus and diversity of human lifestyles.
