1. Summary:

Sociology is a social science that studies how economic activities influence social processes and are shaped by them. It deeply analyzes how modern societies progress, stagnate, or regress due to changes in their local, regional, or global economies. Sociology not only focuses on economic factors but also considers the interactions of social and environmental factors in economic activities. Environmental change is a significant factor in sociology. Deforestation, pollution, natural disasters, and energy consumption all have a significant impact on social-economic systems. Deforestation leads to habitat loss, disruption of ecosystems, and resource scarcity, negatively affecting local communities' economies. Pollution severely affects marine life, threatening the livelihoods of fishing communities. Natural disasters like landslides cause casualties, property damage, and economic instability. Increasing energy consumption poses challenges to both the environment and social-economic systems.By studying sociology, we can understand the interactions between humans and the environment, and how these interactions affect social and economic development. Additionally, we can recognize the importance of policy-making and social norms in addressing social-economic issues.

2.Interesting Points:

Researching the impact of natural disasters on social economics and how to mitigate losses by building more disaster-resistant societies and infrastructure. Exploring the role of sociology in sustainable development and social equity, and how studying sociology can drive societal progress and improvement.

3.Questions:

What role do government policies and social norms play in addressing environmental issues and promoting socio-economic development?
