1、Summary
Sociology is a social science that studies and understands human social structures and activities through a systematic approach to empirical investigation and critical analysis. One of its goals is to apply this knowledge to government policies and social welfare that promote human well-being. Sociology covers a range from the micro to the macro, including people's face-to-face interactions as well as a wide range of social processes. It focuses on topics such as social relations, social stratification, social interaction, culture, and deviant behavior, employing qualitative and quantitative research techniques to study social phenomena. Sociology goes beyond the theoretical level to try to understand the social world by placing social events in their context and to delve deeper into social phenomena by collecting and analyzing empirical data.
