 1. Summary

After reading the article, I understand that sociology primarily studies society, human behavior, and social interactions. It encompasses knowledge of social structure, human behavior, and communication, constituting a study of the entire human society.

Sociology emerged in the 19th century, evolving from classical thought to modern theory, spanning the ongoing changes in society. Its inception stemmed from curiosity and concern about social change, issues, and human behavior, as well as the need for systematic study of human society.

Studying sociology can enhance people's understanding of social structures, human behavior, and cultural differences, improve their ability to analyze problems and address social challenges, and promote both personal and societal development and change.

2. What was interesting

What I find fascinating about studying sociology is the ability to delve deeply into individual human behavior, explaining why people act the way they do. It helps me better understand myself. Exploring the social relationships between humans and society, as well as the intricate structures within society, provides me with a clear understanding of social structures. This enables me to deeply understand the differences between cultures, trends in societal change, and the interactions between individuals and society. Consequently, it broadens my perspective, enhances my cultural literacy, and deepens my understanding of the world.
