W1.1 March 4th(Monday)JIA YUAN

I'm sorry. Due to receiving the invitation link to the blog quite late, I submitted the blog post very late. Please forgive me.

1、Summary

This course is designed to introduce students to key sociological concepts, improve critical thinking and English writing and speaking skills. The first part can introduce students to the problems faced by modern society around the world. Begin with an overview of classical and modern sociological theory. The second part focuses on how society is organized and includes topics such as the role of race and gender. The third section focuses on various global aspects of social change, such as globalization, revolution, and social movements. Throughout the course, we will also compare South Korea with other countries.

2、Interesting place

There are four main learning paths in this class: reading, lecture, discussion and writing activities. The reading provides a comprehensive overview of the terms and basic information we can study. Lectures are designed not only to review the reading material, but also to provide transcendental enrichment. Discussion and writing are designed to help students internalize course material through participation (activities) and oral (focused class discussions).

3、Problem

Does Wikipedia's information have to be accurate? Can you believe all of it?
